Where they stand
Seven questions the site puts to every list. Tap a tile for the party’s words and source.
Bar colour: the stance’s place in the issue’s range of answers, from dark red at one end of the debate to dark green at the other, shared across all lists. The economy’s options coexist, so its bar is a pale tint with an ink outline, not a step on that range. Squares: one slot per answer, in the same order, with the party’s square in its own; a square in the last slot means no answer. Dotted inner border: not said publicly, from the record; open the tile to see why.
Haredi draft. Should Haredi yeshiva students be drafted?
Ynet's summary of its answer: "Shas acknowledges that it will no longer be possible to avoid drafting yeshiva students who have left their studies."
Ynet, Sep 16, 2026
Same recorded stance: Noam

Who they are
- Founded 1984 as “Shomrei Sefarad” in protest at Agudat Yisrael's thin Sephardi representation, under Rav Ovadia Yosef's Council of Torah Sages. Peak: 17 seats in 1999. (IDI party page)
- Deri has led it since 2013 (and 1990–99). Former Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef was chosen “to lead” in 2026. (JPost, Aug 20, 2026)
- Surplus-vote partner: UTJ, “expected.” Signing not found. (JPost, Sep 10, 2026)
Surplus agreement with UTJ: both lists are on course to pass the threshold.
Who votes for them
- Won 28% of Haredi voters and 10.5% of national-religious voters in 2022. (IDI, Jun 28, 2026)
- IDI's Malach: “at least three or four Knesset seats' worth of voters who are simply not Haredi.” (Shomrim, Jun 30, 2026)
- First-time voters: 3% overall, 20% of Haredi first-timers. (N12 via JPost, Sep 23, 2026)

Pledges to be tested in coalition talks
- “We support Netanyahu, period.” (Deri, Jul 16, 2026)
- Reported plan to sit in opposition until a draft law passes; anonymous source, “not a formal decision.” (Maariv via JPost, Sep 17, 2026)
- “There will be no government in Israel with Shas's support or participation unless the status of yeshiva students is regulated.” (Jerusalem Post, Oct 14, 2026)
In their words
“Will Bibi Netanyahu repent? Not a chance… Eisenkot, perhaps he will.”
The leader
